Worcester musician Jules Benjamin will be launching his sixth album at The Marr's Bar next weekend.
The album, called Northtown, will be available from a number of High Street record shops.
Jules will be joined on stage for the first time by his new band, which features Kristian Rozells on guitar, Richie Shelton on bass, Jon Acland on guitar and Carl Lewis on drums.
He says recently all his musical energies have been channelled on finishing the album.
"It's taken a little longer than I'd hoped," he said.
"As soon as all this is done and dusted, I'll be making a sort of 'best of' (drawing from all six albums) for the benefit of the handful of publishers and industry bods that are interested in my songs.
Contacts
"I'm also trying to develop some contacts that I made in New York last year, and I should be heading back out there at Easter to play some shows."
Jules says a small tour is planned with his current band in places including London, Liverpool and Manchester.
"I'm generally planning to make more appearances locally playing my own songs, as opposed to other people's," he says.
Support for the show will be provided by The Velvet Trick.
Doors open at 8pm and the bar is open until 12.30am.
Admission is £4 and food will be available.
