A NEW week at the Marr's Bar, Worcester begins tonight (Friday) with covers band Transmission Red.
The six-piece group performs hits from the world of soul, rock and current stars such as Anastasia and Tina Turner.
Tomorrow (Saturday), another covers band takes to the stage in the form of the Official Receivers. Past visits to the venue have been very popular, so tickets may be hard to come by.
Rootsy-folk-rock duo Machine Breakers return on Sunday (November 3), following their support slot to Ezio last month, while on Tuesday (November 5) Kidderminster band Episonic take advantage of the venue's Musical Makeover night to gain extra stage experience.
Laughs are in order on Thursday (November 7) when Men in Coats bring their surreal physical style of comedy to the Pierpoint Street venue.
Described as Charlie Chaplin meets Salvador Dali, the double act will be supported by Bennet Arron and former therapist Inder Manocha. Tickets are £6, on 01684 561658.
