Fans of Bill Owen, the Last of the Summer Wine star, are to be treated to a warm, funny and heartfelt tribute to him from his son, at Chipping Norton Theatre next Saturday.
For 27 years he played the unforgettable character of Compo.
In 1999 Bill died. Through the writing of Roy Clarke, the actor created what is now recognised as one of television's comedy characters, but his son, Tom, says there was so much more to him than the wellies and scruffy little hat.
Entitled 14 by 3, the one off show includes anecdotal material, songs and slides and takes the audience through the Owen family history.
For tickets, at £9.50 and £8 for concessions, contact the box office on 01608 642350.
