The Big Picture Company comes to Chipping Norton on Friday, November 8 with a new production called Taj. Britain's most talented young Asian company combines text, dance, music and lush video projection to create a sensual theatrical experience.
Taj brings to life an opulent period of Islamic history, relaying a story of love and lust where past and present collides.
Choreographer Rachel Harris has combined driving classical Indian rhythms with expressive vocabulary of contemporary dance, which makes for a truly stunning performance.
