A DROITWICH man has won an award for the quality of his work on building sites.
Garry Johnson has been named as a regional winner in the National House Building Council's (NHBC) annual awards.
It is the second year running Mr Johnson, who works for William Davis, has been given a regional award in the NHBC's Pride in the Job scheme.
He has been recognised for his work at The Ridings, a new housing site, in Droitwich.
He will now go on to represent the region in the finals in London, in January 2003.
"Pride in the Job is an integral part of NHBC's work to encourage best practice in house building," said Peter Watton, regional director of NHBC.
"Site managers have tremendous influence over their sites and it is through their care, commitment and attention to detail that quality building is achieved.
