GHOSTS of the past provided chilling entertainment at Avoncroft Museum's Hallowe'en weekend.
Things were certainly going bump in the night at the Merchant House when busy souls from a Droitwich Spa re-enactment group moved in.
Visitors to the Stoke Heath tourist attraction were invited in to learn more about the Tudors from spooky Eye in the Past actors.
"The re-enactment group dress in Tudor clothes, cook historic dishes and take part in period activities which would have kept our ancestors busy," said Sue Hadley, museum education and events officer.
"They quite literally moved into the Merchant House where they appeared to be ghosts from the past just getting on with their business," she added.
The event aimed to coincide with Hallowe'en activities leading up to the country's annual fright night tomorrow (Thursday).
