BROMSGROVE Rovers won 4-1 at Stourport Swifts last night (Tuesday) to sweep into the second round of the Dr Martens League Cup.
Steve Frost headed the first on 22 minutes following Mark Benbow's cross from Stewart Brighton's 40-yard pass.
Brighton put Frost in again with another left-foot ball over the top 13 minutes later and Frost chipped Rob Clarke inside the box for 2-0.
Malick Sall smashed Swifts back into the contest two minutes from the break.
Four minutes after the restart Paul Danks expertly lofted home a loose ball from 30 yards to restore the two-goal cushion.
Mark Clifton headed Rovers 4-1 clear from Fraser McHugh's 61st minute free-kick.
