WORCESTER flanker Neil Mason has been named in the England Under 21 North squad to play France East Under 21s next month.
Mason is part of a 46-man party that will travel to the French rugby centre of excellence at Marcoussis, near Paris for the game on November 13. England Under 21 South take on France Under 21 West on the same day.
The 20-year-old product of the Sixways Academy is now a first team squad member and played in last Saturday's 74-8 victory over Moseley.
Worcester director of rugby John Brain said: "It's good news for Neil and the club. He is not a player we have brought in but someone who has come up through. He is a very physical player and we believe he has a good future."
