LAKESIDE residents are set to be consulted over what they would like to see happen to council-owned sites in the area.
Affordable housing could be built at an allotment site at Farm Road, Lakeside, and further land at Rough Hill Drive and Sillins Avenue but people will be invited to have their say.
Redditch Council's executive committee agreed last week for the Farm Road site to be declared 'surplus to requirements' and made available for development.
The committee also agreed for the three sites to be 'disposed of for affordable housing development' as part of the Local Authority Social Housing Grant programme 2003/04.
