THE people of Worcestershire are being urged to put their best feet forward over the next six months of autumn and winter.
The county council's Countryside Service has launched a new booklet with The Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and Worcester City Council.
Countryside Walks and Events in Worcestershire for Autumn and Winter 2002/2003 is free and available from County Hall, the Countryside Centres at Worcester Woods Country Park and Waseley Hills Country Park, libraries and tourist information centres in the county.
It features more than 30 walks and events in Worcestershire.
"Autumn and winter are wonderful seasons for exploring the countryside," said Coun Alwyn Davies, Cabinet member for Economic Development and Regeneration, Environment and Sustainability.
