THE search is on to discover the Wyre Forest sports personalities of 2002.
Trophies in seven categories will be presented at the annual awards evening in January next year.
The Wyre Forest District Sports Council-organised event recognises the achievements of sportsmen, women, juniors, coaches and administrators in the area.
Trophies will go to senior sports personality, junior sports personality, coach of the year, junior team of the year, disabled sports personality and there is also an appreciation award.
And a new category, club of the year, marks outstanding achievement in the development of junior opportunities.
Award winners will represent the district in Worcestershire All Sports Partnership's county sports awards next April.

The closing date is Friday, December 6, and past winners are welcome to apply.
