A COFFEE and canapes evening boosted the building fund at Upton Baptist Church by more than £850. The event took place last month and was hosted by Bob and Ayleen Read. The £425 raised from ticket sales and a bring and buy stall was matched by Barclays Bank under its "pound for pound" scheme.
