UPTON Youth Band was happy with a fourth-place finish in a field of ten at the British Youth Bands' Association concert.
The concert, at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham last Sunday, saw the band consolidate their fourth place overall in the BYBA Novice rankings, guaranteeing them promotion to the next league up next year.
"We were very pleased with the result," said spokesman Nicki Taha.
"It went really well and we had a great day."
The band's AGM is on November 7, at 7pm, at Upton Sports Pavilion.
