HEAVY metal band Komanchi Tribe have been reaping the rewards after coming up trumps in a Worcester battle of the bands competition.
The five-piece band, from Stourport, have been splashing some of the £1,000 cash prize on new musical equipment.
They were successful in a competition run at the Marr's Bar in the summer.
As part of a prize they have also had a recording session in owner Brian Marr's studio and will be embarking on a mini-tour of the UK at a date to be confirmed.
