Drakes Broughton 1, Broadway U-8 13

BROADWAY continued their winning ways with an emphatic victory.

Harrison Parker, Charlie Stock and Drew Clark all found the net but it was hat-trick duo, Ben Hoskins and Nick Remfry and player of the match Luke McDonagh who spearheaded the goal feast.

McDonagh scored four times in a fine display of finishing before Drakes deservedly got a late consolation.

Littleton Jnrs 5, Blockley U-10 1

LITTLETON took an early lead through Craig Stanley in the cup tie and it was soon 2-0 Kyle Brotherton netted after a goalline scramble.

Ben Goss made it 3-0 before half-time after which Blockley started the second half strongly only to be hit on the counter attack with another goal by Goss.

A fine solo run by Lee Brooker saw him peg back the deficit only for Brotherton to round off the win and take Littleton through to the next round.

Broadway U-11 7, Alcester 2000 0

BROADWAY put in their best performance of the season in a cup match that was played in driving rain.

The home side scored early through Chris Andrews goal and this was followed by a Josh Burford volley from Wes Parker's corner.

Two more came before the break from Jason Horsburgh and Grant Clarke but the second half was again hard fought with the away side creating chances.

Broadway, though, found the net three more times all thanks to Clarke who took his tally to four - the best of which was a sweetly struck volley direct from a corner.

Northfield 2, Alcester 2000 U-10 10

THE Alcester youngsters were well rewarded for their long trip to Northfield for a Central Warwickshire League clash that saw then trailing after only five minutes.

Arthur Bennet levelled a minute later from a corner and Felix Chadwick and Dave Thompson were on target before half-time.

After the break Chadwick took his tally to five as the visitors mounted attack after attack.

It wasn't all one-sided though and Adam Lee took the player of the match for his solid defending.

Sth Littleton U-8 7, Elmley Castle 1

FAIRLY even play during the first ten minutes saw Castle strike first through from Angus Lamb.

This prompted Littleton to up a gear and Craig Banks scored a hat-trick before the break.

In the second half Elmley struggled to repel the onslaught which led to Lewis Bastow grabbing two goals. Joe Burden then made it 6-1 to in the dying minutes before Elle Parry-Reece's effort rounded off the scoring.
