Bredon went one down but Gemma Perks who was a constant threat during the game then equalised before half-time.

With excellent performances from Ashley Carroll and Will Newman, the home team started to dominate the game and James Robinson and Kieran Willis added further goals to secure their first win.

The Cobras also progressed to the same stage after an excellent 2-1 win at Pershore. Bredon were always in control of the game with outstanding performances from skipper Craig Robinson and Luke Norman.

The home goalkeeper was unable to hold a drive from Jack Newman and Robbie Keating prodded the ball home.

Midfield dynamo Alex Phillips then beat the home keeper at the front post but Bredon then squandered numerous chances to make the victory safe.

Pershore grabbed a consolation goal a few minutes from the end.

In horrendous conditions, the Colts took control of the game and defeated their more illustrious opponents 5-0 in a game they dominated.

James Offord and Arron Phillips scored two apiece but it was left to Will Cook to steal the show with a screaming drive from just outside the centre circle.

The Under-14s won for the first time this season, 4-2 against Littleton in a Mercian League Cup match.
