CHESS: Kidderminster's Derek Digger and Terry Pountney scored great wins for Worcestershire in a 8.5-7.5 success over Staffordshire though John Varilone was beaten.
John Wrench and skipper Maurice Bissell drew for the county firsts against Warwickshire but Mark Riley, John Gittus and Paul Thomas lost in a 13.5-2.5 defeat.
B Sharp, J Friar, F Pickett, Wrench, Bissell, G Link, D Close and Riley are in the Kidderminster team to host Shifnal and Telford in the Pittaway Cup tonight.
