ONE of Britain's best-known journalists has dropped into the Faithful City to sign copies of her autobiography.
The BBC's Kate Adie visited Hammicks Bookshop, in City Arcade, to promote her book The Kindness of Strangers, detailing her life from her childhood in the North East to her adventures in some of the world's most troubled hotspots.
"She was lovely and people told her how they admired her reporting," said Will Williams, the bookshop's manager."
Her visit proved a great success, with almost 100 copies of the book sold in her hour-and-a-half in Worcester.
"It is always a pleasure to have someone of this calibre visit us," added Mr Williams.
