LEDBURY Rotary Club is organising a charity concert to raise funds for Hereford Breast Cancer Care.
The event will take place at St Michael and All Angels' Church, at 7.30pm, on Saturday.
It will feature local performers, including Carl Attwood, The Big Hum and All That Jazz.
The local branch of the Rotary decided to support the cancer charity after hearing a talk by Jan Dell, a Macmillan clinical nurse specialist in breast care.
She told them that the five-year survival rate for breast cancer in Herefordshire is the second highest in the country at 84 per cent.
Mrs Dell also outlined the excellent work being done in this field at the Charles Renton Unit, in Hereford Hospital.
Neil Brambell, Rotary Club president, said they wanted to help support the work, much of which is funded by voluntary contributions.
Tickets for the event, priced £6, are available in advance from the Three Counties Bookshop, John Miles Butchers and Ledbury Tourist Information Centre, or on the door.
