MANY people are devastated by the cancellation of the 53 and 54 buses.
In order to travel to the town centre it is necessary to walk either to Middlepiece Drive or to Headless Cross Centre, a long walk for the elderly or disabled, and virtually impossible for some people.
I was told the only bus travelling to Tesco from the Headless Cross area was the 51, which goes down Mason Road, an equally long walk, especially with bags of shopping.
If there have to be economies, which I appreciate, a bus every hour would be better than nothing.
