I LIVE in a bungalow near the shop in Sycamore Avenue mentioned in your report of October 9.
My neighbours and I totally disagree about the shop causing the trouble.
It is the telephone box and steps leading to bungalows that is the problem.
The phone box is used for goalposts as the children play football in the street. When that is finished, the youngsters sit on the steps, smoking. They never go by the shop.
The damage they do is awful. The council came again last week and put a wall back and mended the steps.
Quite often, a brick is thrown through the telephone box.
The damage is definitely to the steps I use and the phone box.
