THE frontman of nineties chart band Dodgy is building a recording studio at a successful Redditch rehearsal facility.

Redditch singer/songwriter Nigel Clarke, who wrote hits like Good Enough and Staying Out For The Summer, is developing Homegrown Studios at The Ditch in Millsborough House, Lodge Road.

The studios will feature a 24-track mixing desk with modern gadgets like flying faders, digital and analog recorders, samplers, MPCs, synths and a multitude of instruments and percussion.

Meanwhile, The Ditch, which opened in June, is celebrating the completion of its second live room.

The Red Room is twice the size of the first studio and boasts state-of-the-art equipment with which bands can develop their musicianship to performance level.
