AT our October meeting, the speaker was John Robinson on the subject of the natural history of the Wyre Forest, where he was a nature warden for many years.
His superb slides, together with a most informative and humorous commentary, made for a highly entertaining evening. We were made well aware of how vital this area is for the conservation of a tremendous number of flora and fauna. Our next meeting will take place on Thursday, November 14, at the Friends Meeting House, Sandhills Road, Barnt Green at 8pm. The speaker will be Pamela Smith on The Gardener's Arms - a pub with a difference. It will take place in the form of a quiz, demonstration and a talk. Visitors and new members always welcome.
