CHURCH Hill's Phil Tommy captained a three man team to gold in the English Team Tae Kwon Do Championships at Coventry at the weekend.
Tommy, who trains at Fitness Unlimited, Redditch, guided his team to gold in the sparring and patterns for the overall win.
Teammates Nick Birch and John O'Donnell, from Solihull played their part at the Hinckley Leisure Centre as the club recorded their first win in the competition.
Tommy is now training his sights on the World Team Championships in France next year.
