REDDITCH MP Jacqui Smith planted the first of 200 bulbs at Arrow Valley Park on Friday to mark the launch of the sixth National Adoption Week.
Ms Smith supported Worcestershire County Council's adoption team in planting the bulbs to represent the number of children adopted in the county since National Adoption Week started.
The county council is also taking part in this year's campaign to highlight an urgent need for more adopters.
