ALVECHURCH had a boost to their title hopes without playing last night.
Much-fancied Rugby, who Church host in the FA Vase on Saturday, went down 3-1 at Bolehall Swifts to sit three points ahead of Alvechurch having played one game more.
And fifth placed Highgate United lost 3-1 at Coventry Sphinx.
