WYCHAVON residents have been warned they could struggle to obtain credit if they fail to return electors' forms.
At least 8,000 residents have still not returned their annual Register of Electors form to Wychavon District Council.
As well as allowing people to vote, the register is used by credit and mortgage agencies to check for proof of residency.
"Although registration can take place any time of the year, the process can take up to six weeks before names can show on the register," said Amanda de Warr, the council's democratic services manager.
"However, by returning their forms now, we can make sure that they are registered from the start of December."
