STAFF at Worcester Garden Centre (above) have been celebrating this year's "Bring your teddy bear to work day" with a selection of their favourite cuddly friends.
More than 240 bears joined their owners at work, yesterday to mark the event that celebrates the timeless popularity of teddies for people of all ages.
"We sell so many of them and the staff love them so much that I thought we'd make more of it," said centre manager, Bob Tannahill.
"The day has been great fun. Customers are obviously as enthusiastic about teddy bears as our staff."
Though the garden centre, off the A38 north of Worcester, has planned to repeat the event next year enthusiasts do not have to wait that long.
A "teddy bears' picnic", to be held on Thursday, October 31, will see the popular characters return to the centre.
