JUNIOR rugby players from Malvern RFC and their parents will be travelling to Northampton this Sunday to watch the Northampton Saints first Heinekin Cup match against Ulster at Franklin Gardens and helping to raise much needed cash for the Malvern Youth Development Section as well.
Adam Blackmore, who is the head coach for the Malvern U15/16 squad, has organised a Cashbac' deal with the Northampton 'Saints' whereby the Malvern RFC YDS can claim money back (50 per cent less VAT) from all tickets sold for the matches at Franklin Gardens during the season. In addition Northampton 'Saints' will provide coaching for the juniors, signed balls and other goodies all for the price of the ticket.
Potentially, the Malvern YDS can make in excess of £3,000 by May by actively supporting the Cash-back scheme.
Mr Blackmore has arranged coach travel for the Heinekin Cup match departing from Spring Lane and there are still a few seats available for last minute travellers.
The departure time from Spring Lane will be at 12.30pm with a pick-up at Camp Hill where the Malvern U15 squad will be playing. From then it will be a direct journey to Franklin Gardens. The match kicks-off at 4.30pm and the coach will depart from Northampton at 7pm, arriving at Malvern at 9pm. (latest).
For more details and ticket availability can be obtained from Adam Blackmore on 07850 399101.
