THE Chase student Beth Law is hoping to follow in the footsteps of her older sister by achieving international success on the netball courts.
Beth, aged 14, was selected last year for the Worcestershire U14 squad, which she at times captained. This summer she was chosen to attend a talent camp at Warwick University and in July was again selected by Worcestershire, this time for the U16 squad.
In September Beth was one of six girls put forward for trials in Birmingham for the West Midlands Personal Performance and Development U17 squad. She was again successful and will now train with them every three weeks at Edgbaston.
Beth's sister Lorraine was part of the England Commonwealth Bronze medal winning squad in 1998 in Kuala Lumpar.
