It's back for the fourth year running - and if you thought last year's show was brilliant, you should see what's in store for Music Live 2002.

Recognised as the UK's largest music making event, Music Live 2002 brings you three days of unmissable action. The event takes place at The NEC, Birmingham, from Friday, November 8 until Sunday, November 10.

Headlining the event over the weekend will be Simon Fowler and Oscar Harrison, from Birmingham's very own Ocean Colour Scene, who will be performing an unplugged set to promote their acoustic tour.

This year's event encompasses all major brands with manufacturers and specialists at hand to offer information, advice and direction for pro's and amateurs alike. Many exhibitors will be displaying products to be seen for the first time in the UK. Whatever instrument you play and regardless of the music you are into, the vast range of exhibitors at Music Live 2002 will cater for all music tastes and styles.

Die-hard musicians can get stuck into one of the largest selections of musical equipment to be featured all under one roof, including guitars, percussion, bass and keyboards. If your preference is serious button twiddling and pressing then prepare yourself to be confronted by a vast array of samplers, sequencers, synths, effects, drum machines, mixers, CD recorders, sound cards filters and workstations as manufacturers on the cutting edge of music technology put on a fantastic display. A new addition to the show this year is the DJ Village with cool decks, smooth mixers, samplers, CD players, effects, sequencers and sound reinforcement systems. Rare records from every genre including house music, garage, techno, trance, hardcore, oldskool, electro, disco, funk, soul and hip-hop can also be found in Hard to Find Records in the DJ Village.

A charity auction will also feature at Music Live 2002, raising money for The Prince's Trust. Memorabilia featured at the auction will include an Epiphone BB King model signed by the blues legend himself and a Fender Telecaster signed by Paul Weller. In addition there will be some bargain buys with bidding starting as low as £1 with no reserve amount on the item. Simon Fowler
