MALVERN played excellent hockey when entertaining Bromsgrove on Saturday.
MALVERN LADIES 3, BROMSGROVE 0
From the start they took control with Emily Swainswood and Sarah Hopkins dominating the midfield, passing the ball into the D numerous times.
However it took Sophie Wood 15 minutes to put Malvern 1-0 up with a great pass from Amy Forsyth.
It was a fast opening to the second half again with Malvern showing skill and speed with Helen Barns placing another in the back of the net after ten minutes.
Malvern had shot after shot but with the quick reflexes of the Bromsgrove goal keeper they only managed to score once more, again by Barns. Malvern's defence had a quiet game, but when Bromsgrove did manage to get past the midfield Alice Wood, Emily Price, Katie Martin and Nicki Harvey were solid and dependable.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Malvern are playing Harborne away, meet at the Chase High School 11am.
