THE water in the Hanley Swan village pond at the moment is very low.
For those who don't understand why, it's because of the lack of rain. I must point out that in 1989 when the pond was bone dry no one seemed to bother.
I have looked after the pond daily since the day it was restored and I can assure you the ducks, fish and the "Colonel" have plenty of water.
If some people were to donate towards the upkeep instead of complaining it would be much appreciated.
