Malvern started brightly and after just eight minutes Tom Ferguson sent Dave Reynolds on a run to lob the advancing keeper on the edge of the box.

After the break Malvern fell asleep and Mickleton pulled two back within 20 minutes and worked hard looking for the equaliser but great defensive work from Mike James, Chris Denslow, John Davis and Craig Philpotts teamed with the acrobatic skills of keeper Alex Jenkins kept the home team at bay.

In the closing stages Dave Reynolds once again found Liam Harford who finished a solo run with another lob over the keeper to complete the scoring.

Man of the match was Dave Reynolds.
