A LEDBURY couple have come up with a novel way to secure a quick sale on their house - they are throwing in the family car as part of the deal.
Terry and Sally Hilliard, who are moving to of Cyprus, are offering to sell their luxury six-seater Mercedes for 1p to anyone who completes the purchase of their house in the town centre by December 1.
"We want to get things moving," said Mr Hilliard. "We don't want to take the car with us, so we would have had to get rid of it anyway."
Anyone who wants the £8,000-£10,000 car will have to buy 29 New Street, Ledbury, which dates from about 1730. It is on the market with Whitt, Yates and Ridley for £245,000.
