THE route for the northern bypass extension should have been on the former abattoir site which is now being developed for new homes.
Mike Dixon, from Kidderminster, stated in Your Letters (May 24) that Ledbury needed "The thinking of visionaries like Councillor Barry Ashton".
Did Coun Ashton have his head in the sand not to foresee such an ideal opportunity for the bypass extension?
In his praise of Mr Ashton, Mr Dixon failed to inform us that he was of the same political persuasion as Mr Ashton.
Do Mr Ashton and Mr Dixon have reciprocal agreements to praise one another through their respective local newspapers?
