THERE was no change in the top seven positions in The Soccer Site Malvern Football League from last Sunday's results as Bull Allstars continue to lead the way.

They outclassed the newly formed West Midlands team by 20 goals to two on Sunday at Ross Road Playing fields. Jamie James hit the back of the net an extraordinary 11 times, Mark Toman fired in five goals and the other goalscorers were Andy Smith, Shaun Pickering, Paul James and Jamie Gladwin.

West Midlands scored their two goals thanks to Carl Gurney as they continue to search for their first points of the season although team spirit remains high.

Second placed Club AC 30 remain strong defensively as they allowed only an 80th minute penalty goal from Brewery to spoil what otherwise was a very satisfactory performance having gained a valuable 7-1 victory.

Taking a 3-0 lead at the interval through Jonathan Creba (twice) and a Danny Morris strike, Club AC 30 added to their tally in the second period with a brace of goals from Jason Payton-Smith and equally Dan Haywood with one coming from the penalty spot.

Third placed Talbot Head could not continue their 5-0 winning streak for a fourth consecutive week as they were held to a 1-1 draw at the improving Kempsey United Reserves.

Lee Watts scored in successive weeks for the visitors after a goal mouth scramble but Lee Burton equalised for the home side with a powerful shot from a left wing cross to share the points.

Will Ecclestone in the Kempsey United goal was in top form having made three first class saves. Luke Yeomans for United and Talbot Head's Dan Briscoe and Rob Merrick all enjoyed excellent performances in this entertaining encounter.

Morgan Aero 8 were the only side in the top seven to come away without a point on Sunday after they succumbed to a 3-0 home defeat against Green Dragon who have made a very respectable start to their first season in the league.

Fromes Hill added a further three points to their campaign with a successful 5-2 victory over the visiting Madresfield at Bishops Frome. A much more promising start for the Herefordshire-based team who struggled to find the net last season however, this season with a few new additions to the side they are expected to do well.

Bell Inn 98 returned to winning ways with their first home fixture of the season defeating a spirited Eeore team looking for their first win. Anthony Roberts scored a brace for the Bell and along with Tim Febery and Chris Grubb they enjoyed a 5-1 victory. Eeore scored through Trevor Morgan.

In the U18s Youth Division their was also no change in the positions as Hereford Lads Club defeated Bromsgrove Town away 5-1 to maintain their 100 per cent record in the division. Chris Mortlock, Andy King, Ben Arnold and Tom Maclean were on target for the leaders who are three points ahead of their local rivals Widemarsh Rangers. Paul Chales scored the goal for Bromsgrove.

Rangers defeated Barnards Green Juniors with Paul Howles and Craig Lewis hitting the net for the Hereford-based outfit as they won 2-0. In the remaining fixture of the day Libbery Wanderers secured their first points of the season at the expense of Cheltenham Saracens who they defeated 5-3 at Cheltenham's home ground.
