FOUR Malvern Hills district councillors will be holding a surgery for residents next Friday, October 18, as part of Local Democracy Week 2002.
Councillors Serena Croad, Jenny McMullen, Alec Stewart-Cleary and Toby Bruce-Morgan will be available to discuss whatever issues the public wish to raise at Priory Lodge Hall, Malvern, between 10am and noon.
Other activities in the Communicating Council-themed week include a Malvern Community Forum at the same venue the previous night (7pm) and visits to schools by council officers promoting a Young People's Strategy and seeking volunteers to sit on a Citizens Youth Panel.
All councillors are being encouraged to get out and about in their wards during the week.
Worcestershire County Council, meanwhile, will host a special Cabinet Question Time at County Hall, Worcester on Tuesday, October 15. The event starts at 7.15pm and further information is available from Nick Riding on 01905 728515.
Malvern Hills District Council is also inviting views on any topic via their web site at www.malvernhills.gov.uk.
