A NEW website aimed at making people in Worcestershire more aware about the rubbish they produce has been launched.
The site offers people advice on how to minimise, re-use and recycle more of their waste.
It is part of the Rethink Rubbish campaign and is being managed by the Malvern-based charity Welcome to Our Future.
The project has been funded by Severn Waste Services' environmental fund through the landfill tax credit scheme.
This scheme allows operators to divert a proportion of their landfill tax to local good causes, with an emphasis on projects that will help reduce the amount of waste going into landfill.
Severn Waste Services also provides 10 per cent of funding from its own revenues.
The site can be found at www.turntheworld.com
