STRATFORD Racecourse is set to hold an extra fixture on Sunday, October 27 - a meeting allocated from Towcester following its closure until early next year.
The race day will be sponsored by Display Box Ltd a company based in Hemel Hempstead and will include six races, kicking off at 1.35pm.
Weather permitting there will be the usual free family entertainment on offer in the Centre Course area.
Stratford also race on Sat-urday,October 19 with a seven race-card starting at 2pm.
The feature of the day will be the £15,000 added Handicap Steeplechase sponsored by SAAB Contract Hire Ltd which was last year won by Folly Pleasant, who went on to win at Cheltenham and run at the Festival in March.
Other sponsors on the day include Hook Norton Brewery, and Draycott Electrical Engineers, who supply electrical maintenance to the racecourse.
