FOUR popular pubs in the Kidderminster area are being offered for lease as part of a regional shake-up.
The Briars in Habberley Road, the Royal Exchange in New Road, the Sutton Arms in Sutton Park Road, and the Queen's Head at Wolverley have all become available for rent under a new scheme by the Union Pub Company, a subsidiary of Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries.
They were previously managed by brewery-appointed staff.
The four are among more than 100 of the company's bigger pubs up for grabs. Licensed property specialists Brownhill Vickers has been enlisted to market them.
A launch day to find potential new leaseholders for the pubs was held at Hagley Hall last month and attracted a good level of interest, said the company.
