THE town's MP has produced his first annual report for voters to highlight how he has tackled issues raised by residents.

Tory MP Peter Luff has sent the report to constituents and included it on his website at www.peterluff.co.uk

The Mid-Worcestershire representative has featured examples of campaigning activity and analysis of responses to a questionnaire in his Westminster Report newspaper in the summer.

It reveals that Mr Luff has personally replied to more than 2,000 letters from taxpayers, helped hundreds of people sort out problems with Government departments, asked 350 parliamentary questions and contributed to more than 40 debates in the House of Commons.

"MPs are accountable to those who they serve," said the married father-of-two.

"I hope this report will give people a better idea of what I do for them and I certainly welcome any feedback from readers about what they would like to see in future editions."

The report was delivered with last week's Advertiser.
