REGARDING the letter from Sue Sowden (You Say, September 2) I can confirm that there was very little noise from the hunt on that day.
I am concerned as to how Mrs Sowden managed to get from the footpath between Crowle and Broughton Hackett on to the main Stratford Road without crossing "private" land for some distance.
I am of the understanding that "private" land is purely for the enjoyment of its owners and those that are permitted to cross it (which I believe on that day the hunt were permitted to so) rather than the "public".
