Death of a King: The Fate of Edward of Caernarvon will be the subject of a talk on Monday to be given by Martin Haines.
After the king was murdered at Berkeley Castle in 1327 Edward was regarded as a saint, and the offerings of pilgrims visiting his shrine helped fund the reconstruction of Gloucester Cathedral. Dr Haines, author of Death of a King is an authority on the mediaeval diocese.
Meetings are held at the Bradbury Centre of the Worcestershire Association for the Blind, 2 Sansome Walk, Worcester, and start at 2.15pm.
New members and visitors are always welcome. For details call Janet Dunleavey on 01684 565190.
