John Ratcliffe entertained members at the September meeting of this Kidderminster-based club, with an illustrated guide to Snowdonia.
He has collected slides over several years of walking and climbing in the area, and also showed pictures of the unusual plants and flowers which are found there.
The History of the Order of St John will be the subject of Richard Elliott's talk on Tuesday, at 2pm at Trinity Church Centre.
Arrangements are being made for the Christmas lunch at The Running Horse, Bewdley.
Phoenix is a non-political, non-sectarian organisation, providing a range of social activities, particularly for those preferring afternoon events.
