I WISH to express strong support for the retention of the Piano Building at Weavers Wharf in Kiddeminster.
This building is one of a group which preserves the town's traditional character, thereby giving it national, if not international, identity.
It is not beyond the wit of man to develop these buildings for present-day purposes.
Demolition would bring our town nearer to current trends in architectural mediocrity and anonymity, if not vulgarity - something to be avoided I would have thought.
