SHAUN Read completed his hat-trick in the closing stages to seal Salford's win.

A five-goal first half saw Rovers lead 3-2 thanks to goals from Mat Layton, Tom Barber and Read but the lead was extended within seconds of the restart when Read doubled his tally.

Town reduced the arrears only for Read to fire in a great fifth for a relieved Salford.

Bredon Colts U-13 6,

Cheltenham YMCA B 2

ARRON Phillips struck a fine hat-trick as Bredon continued their fine start to the season in their first home outing.

Phillips also turned provider to set up two goals for strike partner James Offord but Cheltenham only trailed 3-2 at half-time having gone two goals behind.

Daniel Keating's penalty separated the sides at the break but Bredon exploited a flimsy offside trap to seal a comfortable win.

Evesham Utd U-15 0, Norton Rgrs 5

FIVE first half goals secured an easy win for Rangers for whom Scott Williams bagged a hat-trick.

Norton's decisive passing tore United apart in the opening half when Ashley Knight and Rob Payne added to Williams' triple.

Evesham were a different proposition after the break when they struck a post but rarely seriously troubled the visitors.

Lyppard Rgrs Jnrs 2, Evesham Colts U-14 2

WILL Gayton grabbed a late leveller and was then denied a winner when flagged offside when clean through on goal.

Matty Smith's fine header from a Callum Wilkins corner levelled matters after Lyppard had struck first.

Colts again fell behind but a formation change proved a key move and Gayton netted the equaliser.

Alcester 2000 U-11 0, Littleton Colts 2

LITTLETON finally put their season of under achievement behind them with a long awaited win.

A brilliant solo strike from Jamie Banks gave Colts the lead and Tom Floyd finished similarly to secure a welcome victory.

Bredon Colts 0, Littleton Jnrs U-12 5

LITTLETON turned in a tremendous team performance to overcome unbeaten Bredon.

They took the lead after only two minutes when Matt Smith forced the ball over the line. Matt Goss then extended the lead when he followed up George Barber's shot.

Goss and Josh Craze then both struck the woodwork before Dan Keen's bullet header made it 3-0.

Smith then curled in a terrific effort and the second half saw Bredon try hard to get back into the game but found Littleton keeper Sam Bastow in tremendous form.

The only goal of the half came when Goss showed bravery when planting a firm header into the net as he collided with the keeper.

Bredon Colts U-10s 7, Inkberrow Eagles 0

COLTS produced an excellent all-round team performance to record their first home win of the season.

First half goals from Matthew Kibler, Scott Bunch and two from Freddie Humphries left Bredon in a comfortable position.

With debutant Robert Jeal giving a solid performance in goal, further goals from Robert Maizonnier, Alex Fray and Bunch ensured an easy win.

Broadway 2, Littleton U-8 1

IN a highly competitive and evenly matched game, both teams produced some good football.

Defences were on top in a goalless opening half but unbeaten Broadway started the second half strongly and opened the scoring with a well taken goal from Drew Clark.

Luke McDonagh made it two shortly after when he slotted home from a cross from Nick Remfry.

The visitors hit back and saw a late effort hit a post.

Alcester 2000 U-12 1, Vale Wdrs 3

ROBERTO Vernaschi scored twice in the first half to give Vale a deserved advantage after some great team play.

Vernaschi's first followed excellent play from Arron Hartwell and his second saw him outpace the home defence and round the keeper before slotting home.

Alcester came more into the game after the break when they managed to pull a goal back but the Vale defence held tight and, after a terrific save from Josh Sinclair, Ryan Cantrill sealed the win.

Evesham Utd Robins U-10 7, Oldbury Tigers 0

AFTER an even start Olly Scarrott turned and fired home from an acute angle and minutes later doubled the lead with a repeat strike.

Further first half goals came from Karl Myers and a diving Olly Davies header.

Oldbury never gave up and an excellent performance from their keeper kept the game alive until further goals from Jake Hall (2) and Michael Savidge secured the points.

Malvern Tn Wdrs Colts U-11 4, Evesham Utd Robins 5

ROBINS bounced back from the previous week's setback defeat with a gritty show.

On a difficult surface they quickly found themselves two goals down but dug deep and gradually eased their way back into the game.

Jack Wood finished off a fine solo run with a low shot and player of the match Jamie Wallace then levelled just before the break.

The second period saw Robins begin to dominate and a low drive from Lewis Ridley rebounded off a post into the path of Jamie Wallace who made no mistake.

Lewis Ridley then added a quick brace to give Robins a 5-2 lead and the game looked over. Colts, however, were not finished and added two more goals to set up a tense final few minutes.

Evesham Utd U-9s 3, Hadley Rgrs 3

EVESHAM struggled to put their passing game together as the Hadley defence stuck to their task.

However, United took the lead when Louis Brown headed in a James Bearcroft corner.

Hadley's equaliser wasn't long in coming and was soon followed by a second.

The Robins levelled when a Craig Whiting long-range effort crept in only for Rangers to regain the lead just before half-time.

Sam Ford levelled from another Bearcroft corner and the scorer was then denied a winner by the woodwork.

Lyppard Rgrs Colts 3, Evesham FDS 3

EVESHAM missed the chance to claim all the points in this hard- fought fixture.

They took the lead when Tom Goodwin struck a low shot past the keeper only to trail 2-1 at half-time thanks to two own goals.

Goodwin levelled with an excellent free kick, but Lyppard hit back with a goal against the run of play with only minutes to go.

FDS applied more pressure and Goodall ensured a point with a clinical finish.

Evesham Utd U-12 10, Moretonville Hawks 0

LANCE SMITH scored six times as Evesham bounced back in style from the previous week's cup disappointment.

Robins attacked in waves and the chances started to come with Smith scoring three and Adam Styles making it 4-0 at half-time.

Moretonville tried hard to get back into the game in the second half but, when Smith scored his fourth and Evesham's fifth. the floodgates opened. Smith scored two more, Styles another with Jon Wein and Rob Andrew completing the rout.

Evesham Utd U-13 9, Worcester Jnrs 0

UNITED enjoyed a goal feast after taking a 5-0 interval lead.

The goals came courtesy of Curtis Fisher, Chris Shepard, Morgan Kennedy and two from Jamie Kerr.

After the break, further goals came from Kerr, Kennedy, Philip Penycate and Daniel Paul while only the heroics of the Worcester keeper prevented an even greater margin of victory.

Evesham Utd Robins U-9 3, Drakes Broughton 4

ROBINS surrendered their 100 per cent record after Elliott Grady had fired them into an early lead.

However, a hat-trick from Callum Tidy sent Drakes into a 3-1 lead at the break. He then grabbed a fourth early in the second half before further Evesham goals from Josh Downey and Daniel Francis made for an exciting finish.

Pershore Tn U-11 2, Bredon Cobras 2

A LATE leveller from Sam Hopkins meant the points were shared.

Pershore had taken an early lead through Steve Smaylen but Bredon quickly replied. They then took the lead before half-time but Hopkins' strike meant honours were even.

Evesham Colts U-16 3, Littleton 2

COLTS took the lead when player of the match James Ash calmly slotted home a powerful low shot.

A period of sustained pressure, though, resulted in a Littleton equaliser with a well-struck free-kick from Karl Scott.

A powerful shot from Mark Evans then restored the home side's lead before the break after which Chris Spencer's 20-yard drive made it 3-1.

Littleton scored a late second through Sam Huckvale and could have claimed a point had it not been for Hathaway's brave double save.

Pershore Tn U-13 3, Charlton Rvrs Blues 5

CHARLTON set the pace with three goals in the first half before Glenn Jones pulled one back.

Rovers then scored a fourth but Pershore hit back with goals from Owen Harrison and Chris Ridings. Charlton, however, killed off any hopes of a fightback with a fifth.

Badsey Rgrs U-13 13, Churchdown Panthers 0

RANGERS went on the rampage against poor opposition.

Marcus Humpston began the rout and it was 5-0 at half time as Owen Powell (2), Dane Aldington and Jamie Clarke all found the net.

Badsey continued to dominate and Pete Hedges grabbed a second half treble, while Powell also claimed his third of the game.

The lead was further extended with a brace apiece from Dave Aldington and Jamie Clarke. Dave Clifton and Josh Radford rounded off a convincing display.

Peopleton 5, Evesham Utd U-8 1

HARRY Charnley struck United's consolation in Saturday's five-a-side setback against Peopleton.

The winners had the game sewn up by half-time when the introduction of Ashley Prosser stiffened up Evesham's leaky rearguard.
