AFTER six weeks of looking out of my Bewdley shop through the roadworks barriers in Load Street, they were finally removed on Wednesday.

On arriving at the shop the next day, I was told by the contractors they were going to put them up again on the instruction of the police, to prevent street parking.

Surely every available space is needed to ease the terrible parking problems - never mind the traders having no access for deliveries.

Yet again the traders and their potential customers must suffer bad decision-making. Just a little consideration would help.

The contractors have been very helpful and have carried deliveries into the shop for me, but obviously their time should be spent getting the work completed as soon as possible.

I would also like to thank all our customers who continue to support us through these difficult times.
