MP Peter Luff has sought assurances over Hartlebury, Torton and Summerfield policing policy due to changes in the force structure.
He has welcomed the shake-up in police boundaries but is concerned about the impact on the most northerly part of his constituency.
West Mercia Police Authority has approved boundary changes which will create a South Worcestershire division to include the three villages.
A separate North Worcestershire division will cover Wyre Forest.
Mr Luff said: "This part of my constituency has traditionally been policed out of Kidderminster. This makes sense given the relative distances between these communities and Worcester and Kidderminster.
"I am worried this otherwise very sensible change might mean a poorer service for my constituents and I am seeking clarification from the Chief Constable their interests will be safeguarded."
