A WORCESTER soldier joined more than 200 others from across the West Midlands on a recent two-week camp in Cumbria's Westmoreland Hills.
Pte Phillip Price, aged 24, made the trip north with the West Midlands Regiment.
The Laser Surveys employee combines his Territorial Army duties with energetic hobbies such as running, rugby and diving.
The soldiers practised their military and weapons skills at the camp, as well as being given the chance to try out rock climbing, mountain biking and clay pigeon shooting.
"It's fantastic that we can get so many well-trained TA soldiers on camp each year," said commanding officer Mark Hiskett.
"The standards never cease to amaze me when they have full-time jobs to contend with as well."
